istheday.blogspot.com/2007/09/today-is-day.html.....discuss. (Israel's thoughts) - W. T . F? I thought in one scene he kills himself...but then that part became him? Then I saw he had kids...who grew up and became little teen hookers? The madness made him split himself in half and... W.T.F? What did you guys get out of this? After looking at it again, it's some kind of rebirth story. What's with the little paper guys? Is that like his guardian angel dude...clearly it knew more about life than he did...with the "just add water" and the "Come back - here's the key to the APT" Or perhaps it's him being reborn into a younger person which is why one scene he's smoking/drinking like a young stud then is given little kids to take care of which causes him to want his older (parental) self back? (Scene with him laying in bed with the spooky eyes) lol...well it makes more sense now than last time.

Yeah, I saw that this morning and my first reaction was the same.... "W....T.....F". After giving it some thought, or wait a minute, yeah I didn't give it much thought. Honestly, its just some trippy drugged out artist who thought he could present a story with a foam dude. Maybe it would make sense if we were in the same drug induced state that the artist was in when he/she made this piece.
I like the story of rebirth though; quite clever. I saw some of the digg comments regarding that, I just didn't feel like expending the brain energy this morning. Maybe I'll look at it later and give it some thought, odds are I won't.

Wanna know the truth behind it? Here goes...He woke up one morning, yearning for that creativity to ignite his wealth and fame. After shooting up and taking other unknown drugs, he noticed a foam pad in the garbage dump. Too poor to afford a blow up doll, he cut out a shape of a human in a mad attempt to make love to it to ease his frustration. Out of shame for stooping low enough to have sex with a foam pad, he whipped out the butter-fly knife (that he purchased from Billy) and stabbed at it. From there, he stopped to watch Gumby, did more drugs and then decided to make a Gumby cartoon out of the foam.
Moral of the Story is...There is no meaning behind this art :oP
*see Jackson Pollock for reference*
