Being hyped up for games is a daily thing in most of our lives. We have been experiencing this type of anticipation and excitement ever since we were kids. Many of us are DS owners...but no longer DS players. Its odd really. The DS strives on multiplayer games. I am guessing when you have the choice between a PS3 or a DS, most will choose the PS3. Anyways...TWEWY (The World Ends With You) has been on my radar for over a year, and I am so glad it is coming out next week. This game sounds revolutionary in many of its concepts (especially the wireless/slepe mode). I know its been a while since most of you have bought a DS game...maybe this one will break that drought. ds.ign.com/articles/867/867129p1.html

I'm playing Golden Sun now, great game didn't have a GBA so I'm playing it now. Kendra bought them as she played and beat Golden Sun in the past so she got that and the sequel.
I still have my DS and still play it.
Problem is everywhere I look in class if anyone has a handheld its a PSP and Crisis Core is in it. Dude was playing it yesterday during the lecture, people on the bus have PSPs, I've seen 2 DSs this entire year and BOTH...I repeat BOTH were in the hands of "mentally challenged" people on the bus...go figure.
But yup why get a DS game when I can get a PS3 game for 20-30 dollars more. PSP is even worse...why spend 40+ bucks on a PSP game when I can spend 10-15 more and get a console game.
All the portables should have a ceiling price of 20 bucks. That was the beauty of them back in the day, now a days they cost too much incomparison to their production costs.
I'm a greatest release DS player. Still waiting for Phantom Hourglass to drop into that magic price point before I get it.

You can borrow mine if you want! I'm amazed at how many DS game sI have. I mean, I look at my A/V rack with all my games lined up and it's easily 14 cases deep...with 2 more coming this month (Rondo of Swords and TWEWY). Like most systems, there are those few games that have been put to the back shelf...but unlike any other video game system, there are still games that I bought almost a year ago (Planet Puzzle League and Puzzle Quest) that I still play on a weekly basis. As I have said before..PPL is my "bathroom buddy"...TMI..i know. Anyways, yeah PSP is to DS as PS3 is to Wii. More features, better graphics, higher price tag, etc. Its almost a direct comparison. The only thing different, in my opinion, is that for some odd reason, the DS has that "omph" that the Wii doesnt have to best its competitor. Sure the "Wii waggle" was fun for Tennis and Bowling...but after that, its just a gimmick. PS3 is a REAL console for gamers...like myself. I was never a "Wii-only" type of guy, I knew I would get a 360 or PS3 eventually. With the DS though, I am content...oddly enough. Sure I would give my first born to get a chance to play Crisis Core, but i think I am looking for a different type of gaming experience when I move from console to hand held. Brain Age, Professor Layton, PPL...all so perfect for the system.

The World Ends With You is gonna rock
Rondo of swords is good so far.
Golden Sun 1 and 2 were EXCELLENT! Great story and characters, very customizable level system... And, best of all, LOTS OF SIDE STUFF! The first one has the Crossbones Island and the second one has tons of small spots you can go to on the map for stuff, about 4-5 secret summons, secret weapons etc.. My characters are so beefcake on that game! I love it.
They really need to make a Golden Sun 3.

I traded in my Are you smarter than a fith grader and my Brain Age. I beat them and got bored and remembered my Golden Sun and how much I loved it so I traded them in for fair exchange.

I would pick up a copy of Professor Layton, Kendra. Ronda and I have a BLAST with it solving logic puzzles and stuff. Shit is TOUGH...but very fun, and rewarding (you feel smart when you solve them). Excellent logic puzzle game IMO.

Excellent logic puzzle game IMO. Hmm I will check it out. I need to get just a game with Sudoku, I had never played that until Brain Age and then I got to where I really liked it. Thanks for the suggestion I will check out that game. How new is it?
