We've all seen bullet time in movies. Matrix...Wanted...Shrek...
But THE originator of BT was the Xbox game Max Payne. With the movie in the works, staring Mark Whalberg as the Max, they are going to prove that they are the original.
For the first time in a live action movie, action scenes will be shot using a state of the art hard drive called, Phantom, which can record the film at 1000 frames per second. This allows a slowdown (bullet time) of mass porportions while still keeping crystal clear video quality.

But THE originator of BT was the Xbox game Max Payne. Ahhhhhemmmm, the ORIGINATOR was max payne on the PC (released july 2001). It didn't come out for the xbox and PS2 until December. I had it on PC and it was indeed righteous.
