This is pretty dumb. I'll be honest with it all. We're done. We're over. Nuff said. Kendra just said it herself. OBLIGATED. Who the hell wants to play a VIDEO GAME to HAVE FUN when they're feeling obligated to play? That person is NOT having fun. I'm all for Kara. I'd love to do 10 man stuff. I support it and all. But at the same time, let people do what they want to do. I have 5-6 RPGs on my shelf I haven't beaten yet. Why? Because when I get near the end I find something else, something new, to play instead. We quit other MMOs etc because we find something else. It'll happen with every game out there. We're losing a tank and a healer. They don't want to play anymore, so you 2 shouldn't. It's not simply a money issue, it's just that you're forcing yourselves to play and "try" to have fun for us which is stupid and ruins the point for us all to play together. If we really wanna run Kara then we'll find more members or we'll join a bigger guild. Forcing you guys to stay with us seems kind of pointless. That said, I'm on the fence. I'm working 4 days a week, at nights when I'd get to play with you guys, and then have classes. WoW is kind of pointless to me, even if I joined an all new guild. Guilds raid at nights, when i work or have to study. Guilds usually do stuff on weekends, which I've been working a lot. I really don't have much more reason to play WoW anymore either. WAR on the other hand, I can get on and do a few things and then get off. I can play during the day without anyone else and not worry TOO much about it. But it's only just beginning. When I hit 40 in WAR it may wind up being the same way... Only things I can do require a large chunk of time. For now, for myself, I'm preferring WAR over WoW as well. But that's simply due to time. If we get a Kara run going, I'll be there. I love healing in WoW. I still want to play it. But to "FORCE" two people who don't want to play it anymore to continue playing for our sakes is stupid. The Straw Hat crew has their problems at times, but they always pull through. Come on guys. We just have to be SUUUUUUUPEEEEEEER! No Kono, I am not saying that I won't play WoW because I will since I told you all I would be the healer it's fine. WoW is fine. I will play it when needed. No worries. I just am not going to be logging on to WoW to just run around Shatt or do some Bg's like before when I have WAR. When I hit 40 who knows what will happen. I could jump back to WoW full time. Who knows...

There is a clause to that. Wrath. For me WoW is BC which I did. I've always been on the fence about raiding in general. Although, strangely WoW was the game I did the least raiding in with max level. I still have Wrath on Pre-order and still plan to get it at this "moment" in time.
AC2 I was raiding and tanking encounters that required server wide cooperation. FFO, I tanked a lot of raids for AFs, etc. WoW would be the only game where raiding wasnt that exciting for me. Although I did raid MC, ZG back in the day, AQ20, etc. sometimes I got to MT some of the boss sometimes I got to OT.
But WoW and Wrath aren't the same. Wrath is the new expansion with new stuff, better classes with the loot, new semi experience.
Myself and I kendra (I'm assuming I can speak for her on this) have a new game that is awesomely fun and like I said "new". WoW has stale old, same shit..heroics..instances and messed up class imbalances in PvP either it be spec or lack of gear on our part.
In the end it really comes down to. You guys wanna play WoW, we wanna play WAR. You guys don't lose anything because you get to Kara and stuff. While we lose out on WAR time and have to pay an additional 15 bucks.
And that's been beaten to death as being fine on mine and Kendra's part.
I think a few guys got a little defensive because Kendra and myself are praising and bashing on WoW and holding up WAR sky high.
That's gaming. If people didn't get bored and move on, we'd still be on SNESes or playing Asheron's Call 1 or EQ 1.
But my advice is, love WoW, I loved WoW when I played it full time. But most certainly don't drop Warhammer because you wanna stick to WoW like an old man refuses to let go of 8-track tapes. You're just cutting off your gamer legs. Especially with none us being poor and living at home unable to drop 50 bucks on a new game. If you love MMOs and you love WoW, then shit Warhammer is right up your alley, painfully closely right up your alley.

The only point i was making is for Kendra to say that Joe should like WAR b/c its more polished than WOW is not a reason someone should play a game, nor was it a valid excuse in my opinion since its obvious our definition of the word polished is obviously different.
No game in my opinion will ever be "polished" no matter how long its been in beta until its had at least some significant time under the scrutiny of the general gaming public, be it hardcore AND casual players alike to critique the good/bad of the game and point out all its flaws. And 2 days doesnt count as significant time to me. Thats all i was stating.
I honestly have no doubt that WAR is a better game, its seems so to me from the general opinions on the board and from what ive read and watched. But some people are still going to play wow for the Lore, the community and friends they have on the game, the simple fact it is still the end all, be all of the PVE realm for the time being (which constitutes a pretty significant part of the wow community along with being a very casual game to play)
So stop posting mile long fuggin explanations, I REALIZE that WAR is a great game but its not for anyone else to say how ppl spend there money.

I agree that you shouldnt pass up on WAR but for some of us its just a matter of time. I dont have time to play both, im committed to playing wow till i feel ive gone as far expansion wise as I'd like, then ill play warhammer. But i am not willing to invest the kinda time or money it would take to play both.
I dont think its that Joe doesnt care for WAR or thinks its a bad game, I'm with him on this, I love the way that Blizzard makes games. If that makes me a fanboy b/c i play games from a certain company over something else b/c they make great games then so be it.

Lets just stop talking about this b4 it gets to everyone, we are all just reiterating what everyone said in like the first 10 posts. We always get into these heated ass discussions everytime we play a game together. Just play what you wanna play and let it be that. I apprecaite the reviews of WAR, itll certainly help me decide how much time i wanna invest in WoW in the future or wether It would be more enjoyable to play WAR.
For now im just gonna finish out what Ive started, then Ill move on.

billy agrees with me? ...hmm...
anywho, i plan on sticking with wow simply because of the community and friends - and awesome lore. i really appreciate how blizzard is directly involved with the gaming community and etc. don't expect much from ea.
i am sure warhammer is alot more "polished" since the last time i played...but, to me its like star wars vs star trek. ...i prefer old school star wars...and you guys like star trek. nothing wrong with that. i like older women and then you got first date raper josh. anyways...enjoy. bitching about who plays what and etc is straight up retarded. its your money...the banks are failing...invest in mmo wisely.

I just realized an easy solution to this!
If everyone dual-boxes WAR and WoW, problem solved! We can play them both together, and no one will be sad faced anymore.

We could totally dual box! Just stack the monitors on top of eachother and go to town!
Whats if like...your Rune Priest accidentally heals my Tauren during a fight?!? Thatd be friggin CRAZY!!
