I noticed a trend in anime.
Every one that takes place in a school... The main character sits by a window. Second floor typically and can look down into the courtyard. Which they do a lot. Usually in the right corner of the room, facing from the front.
Rosario + Vampire Shikabanehime School Rumble Majutsu no Index Death Note
That's just what I can think of off the top of my head, but I know plenty of anime do it.
It's so funny seeing all the trends that so many animes copy.

And just about every anime that has a school setting.
I wonder if real Japanese schools have students fighting over that one "special" type of sandwich during lunch or if people fight over the window seats to be cool like their anime characters.
If anyone has read that brotha's blog about being an english teacher in Japan on that "Jet" program, it seems Chingy and rap music has a greater affect on the little ones there.
Oh and doing the 1000yrs of pain is a very very severe and real scenario in the far east.
