Unfortunately the political system is a total waste of breath. It's built on lies, deception, and false promises.

So that's the fundamental issue with it. Here's the reality.

From day one Obama has been under heavy fire. He inherited the single shittiest moment in US's modern history. We got massive debt, recession (depression depending), many of our major companies are falling over like trees in a lumberjack training camp, and we got a war going on that's being kept fairly hush hush.

Add all that up and the fact he's the first NON-WHITE President who's a Democrat and the shit storm comes down.

I take most everything revolving the anti-this, anti-that with a grain of salt. That said money is power, preception of power is power. The big thing in Obama's case is the grass roots approach he took to gaining money for his campaign, which would lead to less promises given to get corporate money.

We could all go on for hours but in the end there is really nothing any single one of us can do. The half-assuring part is that since day 1 this shit has been going on and we've lasted as a country since then. Shit is on a surface level fucked up right now but nothing to the point where the country is going to collapse.

In the end, a President gets to serve a single term of 4yrs, 2 terms for 8yrs if he can get re-elected. There is no way any country, organization, or company can be stable if true leadership cycled out every 4yrs. It would fall to pieces or sway with the whims of the next leader. So we have this guy who is the President, we then have 100 old farts as Senators and a bunch of HoReps to stand as a check/balance. These bungos then bicker with each other due to party affiliation and who's wang they have to stroke for a favor or return favor and you can easily see how ridiculous things can get.
Toss in Lobbyist, company interests, internal interests, external interests, beliefs, and you have an entire shit storm of bullshit that has no real value for the American people.

No matter how "evil" or crappy anyone wants to make Obama look, so far he's a SAINT compared to the dumb shit Bush and Cheney put us through. Yet where were all the idiots talking about succession and taking a magnifying glass to the president?

And that was TWO TERMS with Bush, not just one. This country had 8yrs to put Bush/Cheney under the lens and look at how Wall Street and the Banks were fucking shit up and no one said shit. We're in this crap hole now due to the crap Regan started and the crap Bush/Cheney did and ultimately due to everyone (American people) blindly turning away from the fucked up shit that was going on.

Talks of recession all over the place but everyone I know within 100miles is doing everything like they did 10yrs ago. Read newegg comments, doesn't seem like anyone is hurting for cash.

Do you see anyone falling over dead due to Swine Flu, H1N1? Nope, but hell if I watched the news you'd think a epidemic was around the corner and that I should stab a guy for sneezing on me. Even my own company is sending out email after email about Swine Flu and how employees can get time off if they even think they were in contact with it.

Anyways, putting my mic down. I don't care if a green faced toad was President, nothing I do will change. I'll still play my games, go to work, pay my bills and talk online. It would take the Toad cancelling all creation of games, the internet, and making the cost to live 2x higher than normal before I start carrying my pitchfork, but luckily we don't have to worry about that because all the companies who make money from those industries will fight harder than any of us American people could ever do to stay afloat.

It's really sad when you think about it. A system so jacked up, so messed up, so selfish, that no one can change it without destroying it from the ground up. But doing so would cause a complete meltdown and then an aftermath of devastation before getting better and ultimately being best for us.

Don't need to watch the 2 hour video to know we live in an Elitist world...I took a c lass in College that basically blasted our so called "Democracy". IT's an interesting theory...Rougly 2% of the population own half of the world's wealth. What makes the world go round, money? Now if 2% of the population decided to stop buying stuff, our economies would crash...People would lose jobs and so forth and so on. Anyway, yeah....No matter who the president is...He/she is going to be a puppet for those controlling the government.
