The Master said it best, to truly own you must own in all games.
WE NEED A FPS! I got Orange Box lastnight...loving HF2...beat it way back in 2004 but 2007 = bigger badder PC...awesome game.
Anyways for money tight folks, I suggest getting Orange Box. For 50 bucks you get Half Life 2, Half Life2: Episode 1, Half Life2: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2 (The cell shaded game you saw in Purepwnage)
I have yet to try TF2, but my favorite multiplayer FPS right now is Quake Wars: Enemy Territory. I could go on and on about why I like it.
Have 100 bucks? Get them BOTH! Have 50 bucks...go for Orange Box you get stupefied amounts of bang for your buck. Days upon Days of gaming.
Wanna be daring? Download Quake Wars...without a crazy Steampowered Warden behind it, it's probably much easier to exploit, hamachize, than Orange Box's brew of games besides Portal.
The last FPS we played together was CS : Source! Time for newer stuff!

Oh and Kendra you will comply...resistance is futile...there is more to life than EOTS and AV and ultimately WoW!
Your Priest training shall continue into the realm of FPS!!!! You'll learn not to be a "Clicker" and your fingers will rest on WASD without thinking.

I'm all for it. I'm sure Billy is gonna come in and be like "Dude, wtf, but what about WoW" but, we can easily play multiple games at once.
We just have to decide... I don't wanna have to buy both. TF2 or Quake Wars. Lets decide. I'm pretty newb at FPS, I'll admit. I would like to play some and practice. I never got into CS much.
LETS DO IT. WoW and FPS. Next, we need SC2 to hurry up and come out. Then we'll have RTS filled in too.

Go play them both so you can give feedback on which you prefer. I'd be all for going to get it... Today. I'm sure my Laptop can run either one.

Just like a woman. I once thought maybe the oppression of women by men throughout history is what keeps them in house and locked down but I've since learned women simply have this issue.
The total fear of venturing into the unknown.
Perhaps that is why all of our great inventors, explorers, founders are men. Men are no more intelligent than women genetically and creativity is like a seed, genetic wise. The more you water it the more it grows.
It isn't like a teacher is going to hit you with a "F" for failing to shoot the guy in front of you. It's definitely not because FPS is unladylike. Women apparently multi-task better than men with stressful tasks.
Well I take back what I said. I had perhaps thought that if I openly included you in something you'd jump on the train, but it seems like you're too afraid of where the train might take you.
FPS,WoW,MMOs,RTS all have one thing in common. They're video games and being video games = entertainment. Why would anyone not want to try something meant to be entertaining? Of course money is finite and venturing into a 50 dollar purchase for something you won't enjoy is a very realistic issue for many people, BUT you Kendra are very much able and capable with playing these games, test driving these games on my PC.
I only ask that you keep an open mind before completely brushing something off.
If you like horror movies then playing an FPS should be your greatest entertainment...not because some are scary (Many are), but because you chicks seem so damn afraid to play FPS or games you're not exposed to yet.
WoW: EOTS - As a priest you must run, strafe, heal, heal others, attack, dispel, charge, run away, rotate camera, rotate position, remember your group's HP, your group's MP, your points, the teams points, the classes around you, the classes on the other team, who is killing the most, your gear, the other opponent's gear, the other team's gear overall, the pace of the game, who is AFK, the flag, who has the flag, who is intercepting the flag, who is helping to defend the flag, who is defending the node...
FPS: Use mouse, point crosshair on target, left mouse click or right mouse click, run, strafe, maintain your HP, know your position, know your surroundings, duck, jump, get ammo.
I could go on and on and on for both games/genres.....believe me if you can play an MMO you can play any game. MMOs are pretty fast paced and you're getting hi with a shit ton of judgement questions every second plus you're required to maintain in short memory all sorts of functions of not only yourself but of everyone around you.
FPS especially single player have many more linear actions. In a nutshell you point click, shoot, send someone to the afterlife. How you do is where the fun is at.
Anyways. I'm glad I was born a male.

I never said anything bad about the game, just stating to Sam that I knew nothing about you wanting me to play til this post and then when she said I am with you Kendra, I was confused. I NEVER said that I wouldn't play the game and furthermore thank you for including me in your thought.
