Man o' Man...this game looks SWEET! Please watch all the vids to get the full feel for what this game brings to the table. - Amazing Graphics (didnt even think the DS could do this)
- Action RPG (like Secret of Mana or Phantasy Star Online)
- On-line Co-op (like Phantasy star online, not an MMO like WoW)
- Awesome music
Soma Bringer will make you nay-sayers happy DS owners again...I can bet on that! www.dsfanboy.com/2008/02/14/soma-bringer-video-explosion/

Everything looked top notch in that video. My only beef is well gameplay. I have Children of Mana, graphics look nice on that game too, gameplay is fast paced but repetitive and without depth.
This game definitely has more depth than CoM, from the break to the spell casting and the various class weapon styles. I just hope it's big with lots of variety in mobs/landscapes.
Let's not forget these DS games are pretty much SD cards with shit tons more space than an old 16-bit cartridge yet SNES was able to pack in all sorts of stuff. A Chrono Trigger and FF3 clone should be completely possible in one single DS card. Let alone the DS itself is far more powerful hardware than a SNES. In short I hope this company doesn't go the easy route like a lot of handheld game companies do. I hope to see a deep long fun fill adventure with some gameplay comparable if not better than stuff from the SNES days...Terranigma...Mana with animations/combos on the level of Chrono Trigger. That's not asking too much is it? DS has the hardware and space.
I mean Koach said it himself (didn't even think the DS could do this) oh it can and much more...except lazy ass companies have found DS owners will typically buy games with 1/5 of the content old SNES games dished out for the same price. The lazy developer mentality is on the Wii right now.
I'll definitely put this on my DS list. This and Dragon Quest!
