Aaaaaaaaaaaand... So it begins.
Ch.3 for the Dwarves. Your base is right across a small gap connected by a bridge to the greenskin's ch.3 base...
Guards in this game are dumb. They don't run out and attack if you're getting hit, they just 'aggro' like mobs if the enemy is in range...
A level 14 shaman was guarding the bridge, a level 10 disciple of khaine and shaman were guarding the cave back to Ekrund, and a level 15 squig herder and 14... Not sure what class, some dark elf I think, were guarding the other path out. It was stuck in the town and, worse of all, unless I was in the building there one of them could hit me almost all the time, and the guards did nothing about it...
Kinda annoying. Because of my stupid work schedule i'll be playing by myself during the day more then at night so i can't roll around with 2-3 other people to help with quests etc for when we get ganked, which is a must for ORVR type servers.

I posted that while standing inside the building...
And now they found a way to block the building entrance by standing on some railing outside where the guards don't do a damn thing. If i leave the building, 3 guys will attack me...
Wow... >< This is a bit, ahh... Stupid. THey're level 14-15, and I'm level 8. Come on now... Freaking destruction dicks.

They've made their way into the building with some more melee help... And are camping the spawn point too. The moment I rez, I have 2-3 dots on me and arrows being shot. I ran away to a safe spot but it's still quite unfair. All of the guards are low level so they can take 'em... T_T

Haha. Dwarf area seems fairly linear in it's landscape, like it looks open but then you find out you need to take a path down the mountain, etc.
Dang they have that place on lock down. I don't think you could lock down a single area in elf land. People tried like I described before with Kendra but with everything so open, you can always find a way out.
I won't be home till 4:15. I'll put some lumps on their heads. I felt Dwarves were the hardest to fight because everyone was a dwarf, tons of players all over the place. Game officially starts tomorrow so we'll see how it goes.
Welp hang in there! I'd imagine the same could happen in Tier 4 even if you're on a core server.

So I moved to another small camp... And the level 15 witch elf just-so-happened to show up. I was just reading through some stuff in my lore book when BAM I hear people dieing... Level 15. Of course all the guards are level... 2-8. She killed me so freaking fast, this is rediculous the different between levels and the how strong the DPS in this game is.
If I had more time I'd probably make a DPSer alt... Healing is fun and all but in a game like this I think that being a big DPS class like a witch hunter, bright wizard, or shadow warrior would be crazy fun over sitting back and watching peoples health bars go up and down...
I might make a Shadow Warrior or something sometime. Heh. I did originally want to be a witch hunter...

I took on 3 guys last night by myself and when I was done I had half my AP back. It is pretty insane the amount of AP that is used compared to having to mana up all the time in WoW. I only pop AP potions when I am really desperate and like running from a mob of champion/hero. I tried to take on a champion last night and had him about 1/2 way down on health but I was out of AP so I had to run. I asked Israel for his help tonight because it is a champion and a hero I have to fight for a quest. That game is so nuts...lol. I have my apocerathy up to 15 and my scavenging is like 53 now. It's getting there. I love to do the RVR's also because its fun as a healer dot all the destruction up and stand back and heal and use some dps when needed.

Correction, you have more DPS. He as a Rune Priest...not so much.
That said with everyone and their mom playing Destruction all us CE players have level 15s+
I mean I'm level 12 and I didn't even try to level, I was mostly running around doing low level PQs and stuff and with the big lands you can spend a lot of time running from one spot to the other.
So you're up against Sunday's massive amount of destruction. Plus you're playing during the day so the figures are much more profound. With you vs them.
Probably be a weekend or so before Order has the pops to stop attacks like that on the low end. Not to mention there will always potentially be higher level order in order lands to defend because high level destruction turns into a chicken while moving into tiers 2 levels below them.
I was only lucky enough to kill 5 destruction guys attempting to do that crap in the Elf lands. Not much most classes can do when a tank comes riding in 1v1 with similar level.
So hang in there release is tomorrow and that's when I believe Order pops will rise up and match Destruction. Just like WoW's beta pops are massively horde yet at release Alliance out numbered them 3 to 1 according to the interviews.

I have a 140 damage DoT. An 60 damage instant nuke. An 89 damage 2s cast nuke... As a healer, I have 1140 health. With that damage against anyone it would take be for freaking ever to kill them.
And that's ALL I have too. And I don't learn a whole lot more.
I enjoy the Runepriest. But since I'm going to be playing mostly during the day by myself when you guys aren't on, with all the destruction running around... It's gonna be hard, REALLY hard, because I can't kill them at all.
If I roll a shadow warrior or something at least then I'd stand a bit of a chance.

Holy hell you have that much HP at level 8 as a healer? No wonder it's down right impossible to kill healers without backup DPS.
I basically have to hit them my morale ability to fool them into think they're okay and DPS instead of heal those few seconds.
At level 12 I have 2300 Hp but I'm stacked with toughness/wounds so without all that I suppose I'd be 1900? So not that much further from you.
They did say they balanced healers to handle multiple people on them. You're just down right out leveled, but if you were level 15. It would take most of them to kill you. You might not kill them but they certainly would spend more time than it's worth trying to kill you.
